How it works

Four steps, one price

  1. 01

    Show us the piece

Photograph the piece and the part that needs work, then say what you want to happen to it.

  2. 02

    Compare quotes

Real tailor shops in London quote a fixed price and a turnaround. You see their reviews before you pick a quote.

  3. 03

    Post it with our label

Pay the quote and postage in one go. Print the label at home, or show a QR code at the drop-off point with nothing to print.

  4. 04

    Wear it again

The tailor marks it done and posts it back with tracking. You have seven days after it lands to tell us if something is wrong, or say it's all good and we pay your tailor.

Questions

Before you send anything

Can I get clothes repaired or altered in London?

Yes. The work is done by real tailor shops in London. Wherever you are in the UK, you post it with our label and it comes back with tracking.

How much does a repair or alteration cost?

Each tailor quotes a fixed price from your photos, and you see their turnaround and reviews before you choose. You pay nothing until you accept a quote, then the quote plus postage both ways.

What can be repaired or altered?

Most everyday jobs: tears and holes, zips, seams, linings, buttons, hems, and taking in or letting out. If you're not sure, describe it and the tailor will tell you.

How do I know which one I need?

If the piece is damaged, it's a repair. If it's intact but the fit is wrong, it's an alteration. Pick whichever is closer: the tailor will say so when they quote if it's really the other one, or both.

Can I have both done at once?

Yes. Start with whichever describes the bigger job and mention the rest in the description; the tailor quotes for the whole piece in one go.

Does it have to be something I bought on HANGARR?

No. Anything in your wardrobe is eligible, wherever it came from.

One piece back in rotation beats two new ones.

Send photos, get quotes from tailors, pay nothing until you choose one.
